To every donor and volunteer who came out in the last few days to help with Sandy Relief efforts at the Organic Liaison store in LA, please accept a big thank you from Kirstie and our OL team. A special thanks to Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Jonathan Knight for stopping by to lend a hand, plus John Travolta and Kelly Preston for their extra help.
Kirstie hired a truck to pick up and ship supplies to the East Coast. We’d been collecting donations from neighbors, friends, and Angelenos since last Friday. As of yesterday morning (Monday 11/5/12), our truck departed COMPLETELY full of donations. Our hearts go out to everyone affected by Hurricane Sandy, and we wish a speedy recovery for our East Coast cities!
